About the Isfahan Painters Association
Based on the need and request of a large group of young painters in Isfahan and in order to organize and create a coordinated and coherent system in the field of artistic activities in the visual arts sector, the majority of artists in this city have long recognized the formation of an independent association as a suitable solution in this regard. This became the subject of numerous meetings held between painters from 1998 to 2001, which eventually led to the selection of a delegation under the title of Representatives of the Founders of the Isfahan Painters Association, consisting of some of the young painters and veteran artists of that period, namely; the late Zia al-Din Emami, the late Abbas Ali Poursafa, Mr. Akbar Mikhak, Morteza Nematollahi, Hossein Havilian, Hamidreza Salehi Mazandarani, and Ms. Ameneh Nouri Nejad, who were entrusted with the responsibility of preparing and drafting the statutes of this association. This matter was completed in 1379 and its text was made available to the painters. In a meeting held for this purpose with the presence of the majority of Isfahan painters, the statute of the Painters Association was approved and the groundwork was laid for the first elections of the board of directors. Following that, the legal registration process was completed on 10/02/2002 with registration number 1144.
